NTV’s Investigative journalist Dennis Okari on Friday tied the knot with his girlfriend Naomi Joy at an invite-only ceremony in Kiambu County.
According to reports, his wedding was attended by family and close friends. All attendees were required to produce invitation cards before accessing the venue.
Okari went on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend a month ago, pouring out his heart about the union.
“This is going to be a special day for me and you because you are loving and God fearing person and I know that all the nice things I can get are from you, so today I wanted to just share these special moments,” he expressed.
“I can’t wait to do life with you, and I can’t wait to start the journey if only I get the answer that I am expecting. So before all these lovely people, family, friends and our parents here,” he added.
The engagement was a secret affair attended only by close family members and friends.
Okari has put his relationship and personal life private since the end of his last marriage that lasted for only 6 months.
In 2018, the couple held a top-secret dowry ceremony that was held in Joy's rural home in Ukambani.
Okari’s ex-wife Betty Kyallo expressed her stand on his engagement stating that she is okay and stated that she was happy for his new found love.
