Ahmednassir Abdullahi to Expose Corrupt Supreme Court Judge

Senior Counsel Ahmednassir Abdullahi has threatened to write a confidential letter to Chief Justice David Maraga, exposing a compromised Supreme Court judge.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, the controversial city lawyer stated that he would also disclose how much money the judge received and the names of proxies who delivered the bribes.

“On Monday I will write a confidential letter to the CJ and disclose to him which judges were bribed and how much money they got and from whom. One of the judges was bribed through a Member of Parliament and the money taken from the branch to a local bank in Eastleigh,” he explained.

According to Ahmednassir, the judge is known to pocket hefty sums of up to Kshs50 Million, per case, to rule in favor of the person who issued the bribe.

He went on to reveal that the said judge made a killing during the recent hearing of election petitions which were concluded on February 15 with the dismissal of a case that had been filed against Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud.

The Supreme Court on Friday overturned the decisions of the High Court and Court of Appeal to nullify his win.

The two courts had ruled that he was not qualified to contest in the Wajir gubernatorial election because he did not possess a degree certificate as required by the Constitution.

Interestingly, Ahmednassir was representing former governor Ahmed Abdullahi who was the petitioner in this case.

As such, many people were not taken aback when he accused the Supreme Court judges of being compromised.

His sentiments elicited mixed reactions from netizens, with many asking him to waste no time in naming the 'dirty' judge.
