Raila's Comment on Kisii Residents' "Fertility" Cracks Ribs

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga once again left the crowd in stitches after he amusingly veered off script during a meeting in Kisii.

The AU Envoy praised the fertility of Kisii residents equating it to that of their vast fertile farms known for churning out high agricultural yields.

“As we were coming on a chopper, we saw that as you come to Kisii land, you already know you are in Kisii especially when you travel towards Transmara.

"This is because Kisii is mostly (made of) fertile lands. When the land is fertile, the people are also fertile and they work very hard at night, evidence is there for everybody to see,” stated Raila sending the house to a frenzy.

He was speaking during the launch of health projects in the region where he had accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Chief Justice David Maraga and Deputy President William Ruto were also in attendance.

At the same event, the two leaders challenged each other to a dance-off alongside the area's governor James Ongwae.

A jovial Uhuru could be seen dancing to the beat of a local artist alongside Ongwae, with Raila on the far right pulling his renowned one step dance move.

While speaking at the event, Uhuru promised to take bold steps aimed at strengthening healthcare systems countrywide.

Leaders present during the event visited Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital where they commissioned several health interventions in the presence of Health CS Sicily Kariuki.
