DCI After University Students Who Assaulted Collegue Over Girlfriend

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is probing Technical University students who allegedly beat up a colleague whom they believed had an affair with one of the suspects.

On its Twitter page, the DCI asked a social media user known as @Onsombi to ask the victim to report the matter to the nearest police station and share the OB number with them.

"We will ensure that justice is served," part of the tweet read.

In a viral video making rounds on social media, the victim by the name Alloys is whipped and kicked by two attackers.

In yet another video, the victim is kicked, slapped and asked to explain why he kissed a girl by the name Angel.

Kenyans started a hashtag on Twitter #JusticeforAlloys tagging the relevant authorities.

"Please help stop bullying at universities and those foolish wayward boys should be arrested, I don't feel safe in my University anymore," stated @Jenniebabe6

"Jokes on you Cedric you just made Alloys w famous," added @OgonyVivian.

The suspected attackers, Chiga and Cedric, are allegedly first-year students at the Technical University of Mombasa.
