The number of Kenyans who've turned up missing, most of them being women, has caught the attention of activists who recently organised a demonstration in protest of the same.

In February, social justice activist Caroline Mwatha was reported missing before her body was found at City Mortuary

In the same month, AMREF nurse Margaret Kilelu, who had been reported missing, was found unconscious in Mombasa

NTV Switchboard operator Mildred Odira, who also went missing was later found dead just days after the media covered her disappearance story.
