Pastor Ng'ang'a Condemns Media After Release from Jail

Controversial televangelist James Maina Ng’ang’a is at it again. In a video that has appeared online, the Neno Evangelism Center preacher is heard condemning the media over negative stories written about him.

In the clip, Ng’ang’a claims that the reports that he had spent the night in police cells were nothing but mere fabrications.

The preacher also commented on reports that he had gone to the wilderness dressed in sacks to pray over a case that he has in court for threatening Citizen TV anchor Linus Kaikai.

Juzi umesema nimeenda kujifungia msituni, nikiombea nini? Niombee hio mambo ya ujinga. Ujinga mko nayo (A few days ago you told people I had gone to the wilderness to pray, pray for what? That is stupidity),” an agitated Ng’ang’ a stated.

The controversial preacher also made threats on unspecified consequences if the media does not stop portraying him in ‘bad’ light.

Chunga akili yako, usipo I promise you the same again (Be careful what you say about me or I will make good on my previous promise)” the pastor continued.

Ng’anga is also heard mocking the News Gang show that airs on Citizen TV for criticising his activities.

Kila mtu akitaka kujifunza kizungu ni Ng’ang’a (When everybody wants to learn English they use me), my kicker tonight is Ng’ang’a go kicker [sic] yourself ” he mocked.

This comes after the preacher was allegedly arrested on Thursday, April 4 and released on Friday, April 5 for allegedly defrauding a businessman of Ksh3.6 Million.

Earlier in March, the preacher was charged with threatening Kaikai in a similar video.
