Miguna Miguna Blast Raila Odinga After ODM Loses Ugenya & Embakasi South By-Elections

Firebrand politician Dr. Miguna Miguna on Saturday lashed out at  ODM leader Raila Odinga after his party lost two by-elections.

Both ODM candidates were trounced in the elections with Chris Karan losing the Ugenya seat to Movement for Democracy and Growth party candidate David Ochieng.

While Irshad Sumra of ODM conceded defeat to Wiper candidate Julius Mawathe in the Embakasi South by-election.

Taking to social media, Miguna thanked the people of Ugenya and Embakasi for disregarding Raila’s plea and heeding to his call.

He stated that the Kenyan people were finally opening their eyes to the true nature of Raila, who he claimed had betrayed his people by collaborating with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He warned that Kenyans were becoming alert and that the just concluded by-elections were a sign of things to come, noting that a revolution was in the works.

Here are some of his social media posts:

“On March 3, 2019, Raila Odinga pleaded with the people of Ugenya not to embarrass him by electing David Ochieng as their MP. He campaigned for the local thug and forger, Karan. Thank you the Patriots of Ugenya for embarrassing the PEOPLE'S CON-MAN and TRAITOR, Raila Odinga! The gallant patriots of Ugenya listened and heeded our call. And for that we are grateful. Let the revolution roll".

“The compromised Kenyan media have disseminated propaganda that Luos, specifically, and Nairobi voters, generally, cannot defy Raila Odinga no matter how egregious his betrayals are. Ugenya and Embakasi East are just the beginning of the approaching revolutionary earthquakes. Get ready for the bumpy ride. Viva!”

“Let me congratulate David Ochieng' for winning the Ugenya seat against Raila Odinga and to Julius Mawathe for his victory in Embakasi South where Raila Odinga had camped for days. Kenyans are alert and marching on against despots and all their collaborators. Aluta Continua! #SayNoToDespotism”.

Elsewhere, Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula also took to social media to congratulate the winners of the two by-elections.

"Congratulations David Ochieng and Julius Mawathe for winning mini elections in Ugenya and Embakasi South respectively. Our support and prayers were not in vain. Mungu halali, hasahau wala hachoki!!!(God does not sleep, forget or tire)" his tweet read.
