Comedian Zulekha Suchn Appeals for Urgent Medical Help

Zulekha Suchn, a Churchill Show comedian has appealed to the public to help her raise funds so that she can get an urgent endometriosis surgery.

On her Facebook page, friends and family have appealed to Kenyans to come to the aid of the comedian.

"We are appealing for medical assistance for Zulekha, from you as her fan and friend, as well as well-wishers to raise Ksh 150k.

"The funds are needed before April 10, 2019," read part of the text.

According to the post, Zulekha has a condition known as endometriosis and is currently measuring 1.53cm by 1/27 while the smallest measurement should be 5mm.

The comedian also stated that the disease was progressing day by day and that the treatment was urgently needed.

“The doctor said it’s exceeding day by day and that I should go for surgery to control the disease. Kindly help me with anything little. May Allah bless you,” she stated.

Endometriosis is a condition that causes pelvic pain and one that is associated with menstruation in ladies.

Media personality Njambi Koikai has also been receiving treatment in a hospital in Atlanta, United States, after she was diagnosed with the condition.

“So the endometriosis in my uterus, bowel area and ovaries was completely removed. The biggest challenge has been my lungs," she had stated in an interview.
