Waiguru's Husband Waiganjo Kamotho Narrates How Man Asked Him to Leave His Wife

Lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waguru's husband has narrated an ordeal in which a man accused him of trying to snatch his wife.

On his Facebook account, Waiganjo narrated that the agitated man told him to leave his wife alone citing that he had been sending her money regularly.

"Who’s this nut I wonder? His evidence? He’s gone through her phone and I send MPESA to her regularly," read part of the post.

Out of curiosity, the lawyer decided to ask for the woman's number and ongoing through his contacts he found out she was his daughter's hairdresser.

"Turns out she’s my two daughter’s Kenyatta Market hairdresser so of course, I M-Pesa her regularly," he added.

Waiganjo narrated that the man was so embarrassed and apologised profusely, adding that he had saved a marriage.

The lawyer proposed to Kirinyanga Governor Anne Waiguru in February at the Lavish Lord Erroll Hotel in Runda, Nairobi.

"I was completely surprised. We had not been talking about formalizing our relationship so I did not expect it. We had just come from holidays and we were celebrating his birthday as we do with close friends every year, "the governor stated.

A traditional Kikuyu ceremony later followed on February 16 - two days after Valentine's - in Kiamungo, Kirinyaga county with family and invited guests present.

"It was a beautiful ceremony. The time was right for us to take our relationship to the next level," Kamotho commented.
