Asbel Kiprop's Message Gets Kenyans Worried

A recent social media post by disgraced middle-distance runner Asbel Kiprop has left Kenyans worried.

Taking to Facebook on Saturday, the 29-year-old athlete urged the National Police Service (NPS) to dismiss him from duty.

He went on to state that he would use their machinery to earn himself justice if they did not heed his call.

Kiporop also asked the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) to pick the medals that he had been awarded before.

His post caught netizens by surprise. Many of them asked him to think things through and not to do anything stupid.

Joy Tuiotek wrote, "Can someone reach out to this fellow, stay strong Asbel the storm will pass keep calm and don't revenge."

Simon Mativo posted, "Take it easy Asbel all will be well. We are praying for you."

Vinn Keller commented, "You are stopping too low Asbel. You are more than that."

Kiprop's shocking message comes exactly a week after news surfaced that he had been banned for four years by the IAAF.
