Terror Syndicate Terrifying Kenyans in Eldoret Exposed

Police officers in Eldoret have unmasked a terror syndicate that has been terrifying the area's residents.

According to a report by The Standard, the two,  Thomas Elepelem Edong’ and Paul Marai Njoroge, were arrested on suspicion that they stormed into a premise in Uasin Gishu County and killed a motorbike operator.

Confirming the incident, officer Avedi Kinambuga disclosed that they were on the police list of the wanted criminals and were regularly linked to various crimes in the area which they often struck at night using motorbikes.

The two were, however, arrested en route to another burglary operation at Ngeria area Kesses Constituency.

“The two suspects are very dangerous people in this county, according to a tip-off from our sources reveals, the suspects are alleged to have hit a motorcyclist known as bodaboda and stole his motorbike," confirmed Langas Police Sub-County Police Commander (SCPC) Wilson Abdupa.

Abdupa further divulged that the police force worked on a tip-off by members of the public and nabbed the deadly thugs.

“Some local residents called our office informing us that two suspected robbers who are strangers have been spotted along Eldoret-Iten road near Hawai area, but when our officers cornered them and arrested one, other accomplishes disappeared.

"However, after interrogating him, he led us to where his colleague was. We arrested him and also recovered the motorbike stolen from the last victim,” continued the SCPC.

The two are expected to be arraigned in court and charged with the offence of robbery with violence.
