NTV Presenter Sharon Mundia, on Tuesday, decided to drive a 35-seater matatu during her morning show.
In a segment on her show Living With Ess where she steps out of her comfort zone, Mundia goes to the extent of driving a 35-seater matatu.
"Once in a while, I get to do something I've never done before, something completely new so I can get to learn and grow and it's really fun as well," she divulged.
Visibly excited to take on the challenge, the bubbly show host put on the uniform half coat as prescribed by the traffic Act and admitted that she was nervous.
The usual driver of the matatu (Mose) took her through a quick course on how to operate the manual vehicle.
Sharon admitted that she knew how to drive a manual car but the size of the matatu intimidated her.
She turned the key in the ignition, pulled on the gear and they slowly made it out of the parking.
During the drive along Waiyaki Way, the presenter engaged the driver on his job and his experience as a driver.
Mose told her of the challenges they go through especially with the harassment from traffic police officers.
"I spend most of the time at work, even my children ask their mother if I ever go home," he told the anchor.
