The young boy who released his hit song Mathwiti, received an appointment to see Deputy President William Ruto in the coming week.

The DP seems to have developed a special liking for online content creators.

On April 7, Ruto welcomed a host of online content creators in his Karen office.

He noted that the digital space had the potential to create employment for many young people.

Ruto applauded the content creators for contributing to the growth of the local film industry.

"We are building an enabling environment for content creators to do their thing, especially in the digital space, which is key to creating jobs; enriching local media programming; promoting talent and enhancing the creative economy," the DP posted on his social media.
