Motorists using the Muthaiga route were this evening frustrated by an accident that happened along the road at around 6 PM.
The accident involved a Kenya Mpya bus and another one belonging to Kaka Travellers along the service lane.
According to eyewitnesses, the 33 seater Kaka Travelers bus flipped on its side, blocking the main road after the Kenya Mpya bus rammed into it.
Police from Muthaiga police station were reportedly quick in their responce as they were seen at the scene trying to clear up the traffic that had been gradually piling up.
It is not yet clear if any lives had been lost following the accident by the time of publish nor the number of injured passengers.
Netizens who ply that route took to Twitter to express their frustration with the public transport company, Kenya Mpya.
One motorist wrote, "Guys should avoid Muthaiga Service lane. As usual a Kenya Mpya bus and another overturned bus involved in an accident."
This comes hours after school going children abandoned classes to protest over the dangerous state of Juja road this morning.
The students were demanding for the erection of a flyover and speed bumps to prevent what they viewe as an impending disaster.
