Four men, all related, were killed in an attack that also saw them lose their livestock in Mandera county.

The four victims were relatives of the assistant chief of Eymole- Adan Malow.

Three more people were injured in the Tuesday morning attack.

According to The Star, witnesses say that the attackers who were heavily armed took off with livestock.

The incident comes as Northeastern regional coordinator Mohamud Saleh and other security officials started a four-day tour of Mandera and Wajir counties to talk to the locals about working with the government to fight Al Shabaab.
