Waititu Reveals The Only 2 Things He Fears

Outspoken Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu, has revealed the two things that he fears the most.

While addressing a rally on Sunday at Makutano center in Trans Nzoia County, the governor stated that he was certain he had done nothing wrong following his arrest on Thursday over corruption claims.

He alleged that he had been set up by his opponents for working closely with Deputy President William Ruto.

“No, I cannot follow Raila Odinga by force, I only fear God and hot porridge in this world, only that,” Waititu made a light comment.

He also commented on allegations that his daughter had deposited millions in her bank accounts.

“They are lying on Facebook that my daughters have millions in their accounts but that is a lie… they’re saying I have over 50 bank accounts, but all those are lies," he stated.

On Thursday, EACC detectives investigating the governor were shocked to find out that his accounts were nearly empty.

The officers had stated they were probing whether Waititu may have used proxies and immediate family members to transact millions that he has been accused of siphoning from the county government.

“We are on a trail to establish the unexplained wealth that he has amassed within the short period that he has been in office.

"The governor seems to have embarked on a buying spree of property, without blinking an eye about their prices,” EACC spokesman Yassin Amaro stated.
