Thousands of Kenyans have reacted to Kibra MP Kenneth Okoth's post on Facebook. In the photo shared, the legislator is seen posing with BBC journalist Larry Madowo and thanking him for taking the time to visit him in France where he has been receiving treatment.

Most Kenyans were pleased with the health condition of the ODM MP who appeared to be doing much better than he previously was when he flew out of the country for treatment.

Madowo also posted the same photo on his Facebook account which sparked a plethora of netizens' comments.

Many thanked Larry for visiting the legislator and wished Hon Okoth a quick recovery.

"Thank you Larry for visiting the great sipul (his original home) man. Let him heal at God's speed," a Facebook user named George Opiyo posted.

Another follower noted the MP's progress and commented on it. "Happy to see you are progressing well Sir, I pray for your quick recovery," read the post.

A user by the name Frankline Nyongesa used this platform to commend the MPs leadership style.

"Wishing you a quick recovery. You're a great leader!" he commented.

Thousands of reactions continued pouring in to show support to the youthful politician who has been in France for medical attention.

Ken Okoth has been battling colorectal cancer but is still putting on a brave face to work for his people.

The diagnosis came quite late when his colorectal cancer had reached stage four with metastases to the liver.

The late diagnosis made the malady incurable but it can still be managed with proper medical care.

Colorectal cancer, as defined by Mayoclinic.com, is when cancer develops from both the colon and rectum.
