Photos of DP Ruto's 'Police' Looking Regalia Going Viral Online

Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday hosted dancers from the renowned FBI dance group at his Karen Office.

The team, which was dressed in a uniform similar to that worn by security officials, also carried one for the DP.

After he wore the attire, the dancers then taught Ruto some of the dance moves that the group is famous for.

He announced that the dance group will represent Kenya at the World Hip Hop Championships in Arizona, USA that will take place from August 5 to 10.

He highlighted the importance of supporting young people who are exploiting their talents to earn a living.

"We are supporting youth to exploit their talents, harness skills to earn a living, especially for young people engaged in sports as a commercial activity. They are our brand ambassadors; we take pride in their achievements and positioning the country as a force in global sport," posted on Twitter.

"The youth should seize the opportunity of the creative economy, including arts, theater and film, to express their ideas; promote local content and create jobs," he advised.

In May, the DP had hosted video content creators who entertained him as well as updated him on the dynamics of the industry.

“We are building an enabling environment for content creators to do their thing, especially in the digital space, which is key to creating jobs; enriching local media programming; promoting talent and enhancing the creative economy,” Ruto pointed out.

The DP also went ahead and featured in some of the skits and plays that the video content creators made inside his office.
