Veteran journalist, Jimmi Gathu, has been appointed as the media liaison for former presidential aspirant, Musalia Mudavadi.
A press statement sent to new rooms noted that Gathu's responsibility will be organizing and handling all media relations, which include interviews and press engagements for the former aspirant.
"Kindly forward all your requests to his office through his email address. We thank you for your continued support," part of the statement read.
Jimmy Gathu hosted Citizen TV's first breakfast show 'Power Breakfast' alongside media personality Kobi Kihara several years ago.
He later went to K24, where he also hosted the breakfast show, before he quit in 2015 and joined Nation Media Group English radio station, Nation FM.
There, he took over the State of the Nation morning show which ran on weekdays from 6am.
On Thursday, Gathu posted a photo of him and his boss while they were arriving at the late Safaricom CEO's Bob Collymore's memorial service.
