Kenyan Artiste Alex Apoko AKA Ringtone has been in the limelight following his public stunts looking for a wife.
On Friday, he appeared on NTV's The Trend Show hosted by Antoneo Soul where he explained that he was not doing it for the hype, but he was seriously looking for a wife.
At the same time, Miss Kenya Plus World models were in the studio for an interview. Throwing light jabs at Ringtone's new music, the host and the nine ladies stated that the track was below par.
"Does that jam make it or not?" Antoneo asked the models, who responded with a resounding 'No'.
He went further and asked, "Raise your hand if your answer is yes. How many would date Ringtone?" to which they all remained silent and when asked in the negative they all raised their hands.
Ringtone has adopted unorthodox means in his quest to acquire a wife which he explained in an interview with Betty Kyallo.
He revealed that he usually drives to Runda road and parks his car on the side, stands in the middle of the road and raises a placard for 30 minutes with his future wife’s qualities.
“Now that Kenyan ladies are ignoring me we are going to go out to the road. There’s something I have been doing secretly. I’m surprised no one has noticed yet," he explained.
Earlier in June, Ringtone was chased away from Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) after he turned up with his placard.
