Anne Waiguru’s Mother’s Touching Message to Kamotho Waiganjo

Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru ‘s mother Mary Njeri on Saturday shared a moving message with her son in law, city lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo.

Speaking to The Star, Waiguru’s mother welcomed Waiganjo as her son stating that he was joining their family as her second son.

“Me as Mumbi's mother I have embraced Waiganjo. Anne Mumbi Nyamu is my 3rd born. And Nyamu is her late father. I am very happy. God gave me one son and now I have another one called Kamotho Waiganjo,” she remarked.

“I am very happy. We have accepted him with both hands as the entire family. We can never do anything bad to him,” she added.

Waiguru and Waiganjo tied the knot on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at a traditional wedding at Kiamugumo Primary School in Gichugu Constituency.

Thousands of invited guests among them President Uhuru Kenyatta  Opposition leader Raila Odinga are witnessing the event.

Waiguru’s elder brother Micheal Mureithi was also in attendance.

The lovebirds have been seeing each other for almost a decade now and according to Waiganjo, their first meeting was at the Likoni channel in Mombasa 10 years ago and they shared a simple meal, bread, and soda.

After numerous conversations, the two went for dinner at a Thai restaurant and from then henceforth their love blossomed.

According to Waiguru, Waiganjo has always been there for her and was her pillar during the NYS scandal.
