When conveying the news items to the masses, anchors maintain a serious outward appearance and professionalism so as to deliver the information in a credible manner.
But what happens when the cameras are off after a successful bulletin?
Well, NTV anchor Olive Burrows and her counterpart, Sports journalist Ida Waringa gave their followers a glimpse of what happens after a show.
The duo had a light moment when they broke into song and dance after the news bulletin, on Sunday, with their own rendition of the British Rock Band Queen's Smash hit Another One Bites The Dust.
"See what Snowball had us doing in the studio last night," Olive Burrows captioned the clip, referring to a viral video of a bird named Snowball, the cockatoo, that was filmed dancing to the song.
The anchors remade the iconic beats in unison with their mouths as the only available musical instrument.
They appeared to be enjoying themselves as they also embarked on some subtle dance moves.
The cheery journalists then eased their way into the chorus which was repetitive in nature.
Holding the camera, was fellow anchor Dennis Okari, who showcased his videography skills, zooming in and out to the tune.
The two journalists ended the song, breaking out in laughter, pleased with their light moment, before wishing their followers a pleasant evening.
