MP Entertains Guests With Melodic Voice During 16-Couple Wedding

Laikipia Woman Representative, Catherine Waruguru, shared a clip of her performance during a unique wedding ceremony that took place on Sunday.

The MP serenaded guests at the Baraka Catholic Church in Thingithu Ward with two legendary love songs, as she shared her joy regarding the records nuptials.

Ms Waruguru went on to share several photos of the unique event, where 16 different couples were all lawfully wedded in one colourful event.

"I couldn't miss the colourful 16 weddings held at Baraka Catholic Church in Thingithu Ward, all being my closest neighbours. A blessed and wonderful Sunday it was. God bless them all," she posted.

Many were quick to point out the MP's melodic voice, with some opting to lavish her with praises on her Facebook page.

"Beautiful voice mheshimiwa," Elvis Sang remarked.

The Woman Rep belted out Eric Wainaina's famous Ritwa Riaku love song, in which the subject narrates of his undying love for his spouse, which led them to do things that most would consider crazy, such as calling out a loved one's name while out in the wilderness.

She then switched to Harry Kimani's famous Haiya love ballad, leaving the entire congregation thoroughly entertained.

"Cate, you are blessed with a sweet voice," John Clark posted on the MP's official Facebook page.
