MP Oscar Sudi Calls For President Uhuru & Ruto to Resign [VIDEO]

Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi, on Wednesday, came out to harshly criticise the Presidency in what he termed as incompetence and total failure in leadership.

Sudi noted that president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto had failed the country and had no option but to resign.

The MP who had in earlier times fiercely defended the DP seemed to have changed tune and asked for him to step aside.

He dared the president to hand over leadership to him and a deputy that he would choose for three months for a lesson on how the country is run.

He further accused the government of using Treasury CS Henry Rotich and his PS Kamau Thugge and was planning to dump them.

According to Sudi, the move to prosecute the two alongside 26 others was a plan by the government, to sabotage Kimwarer and Arror dams project.

The Firebrand politician also asked DCI boss George Kinoti to pave the way as he had failed in his pursuit for the saboteurs of the two dams.

Sudi’s sentiments come after the arrest of Rotich, Thugge and 26 other individuals.

The 28 were arrested on Monday after DPP Noordin Haji announced that he had enough evidence to prosecute them with corruption cases.

They were arraigned in court on Tuesday where the CS and his PS were released on a bond of Ksh50 million or a cash bail of Ksh15 million.

On Wednesday President Kenyatta appointed labour CS Ukur Yatani as the acting CS in the treasury while Dr Julius Monzi Muia had been appointed as PS for National Treasury. Torome Saitoti took over as PS for the State Department of Planning.
