DCI Kinoti Exposes Threatening Messages Over High-Profile Arrests [VIDEO]

The Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI), George Kinoti, recently opened up on receiving threatening messages over the arrests of prominent individuals.

While speaking to Reuters, Kinoti stated that he has also been receiving calls from unknown people who want him to slow down on the fight against corruption.

He, however, vowed that he will not give in to their demands.

The country's top detective pledged to continue arresting individuals who are linked to graft cases.

“People might as well start preparing themselves because more arrests will be forthcoming.

"You cannot call me and stop me, you cannot stop me, you can't,” Kinoti explained.

He also heaped praise on the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji and described him as a knowledgeable man.

“He is the first DPP. I can say that he is a polished field officer. He knows investigations very well because by capacity he was an investigator and an operational man in the intelligence,” he added.
