NTV Presenter Kneels Before Raila, Begs for ODM Ticket [VIDEO]

NTV presenter, Kriss Darlin, who has expressed an interest to run for the Kibra parliamentary seat, on Sunday, excited a crowd when he knelt before former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, seeking the ODM ticket.

Darlin, who hosts the popular Jamrock show, urged the AU envoy to hold his hand promising that when he wins the race, he will fight for Raila while in Parliament since he had learnt that a group of young MPs were against him.

He further declared that he was ready to take a bullet for the former premier if that would let him lead the country in 2022.

“I have heard that there are many young men in Parliament fighting Baba (Raila), allow me as their fellow youth to go fight them in there as you wait to fight in 2022.

“Let them shoot me if it means that you remain and lead in 2022…I ask that you hold my hand Baba," stated Darlin amid cheers from the crowd.

The entertainer made the revelations in the rally which was held by ODM to unveil all the candidates who were interested in flying the party's flag in the upcoming by-election.

He has previously revealed that he was born and bred in Kibra and promised that, if elected, he will ensure that all projects kickstarted by the late Ken Okoth are followed to the latter.

Speaking during the rally he had convened at Kamukunji grounds, Raila, however, ruled out a direct nomination for any ODM candidate in the Kibra mini poll scheduled for November 7, 2019.

The opposition leader made it clear that there would be no favourites in the race to clinch the coveted legislative seat.

He then allowed the 24 candidates, who had expressed interest in contesting for the seat under ODM, to introduce themselves to the expectant crowd.
