The daughter of President Uhuru Kenyatta is the subject of a new love ballad by Nairobi-based rapper, Rajiv Okemwa also known as Raj.
He poured out his heart to Ngina Kenyatta in his new hip hop jam named after the first daughter that was uploaded on YouTube on August 27, 2019.
Raj disclosed that he was smitten by her photos and could not wait to meet her in person, since he was getting impatient.
The musician asked Ngina to invite him and he would honour it without hesitation, promising to prevent the media from meddling.
Okemwa acknowledged that he doesn't come from a family as wealthy as the president’s, but has much more to give than money.
“Mammi I come from a village, I'm prolly few of the realest , Sijawahi shika a milli, But kwako nime shika feelings (I come from the village, probably one of the most real men. I have never had a million shillings but I have feelings for you),” the musician raps.
Raj has previously collaborated with musicians such as STL and Victoria Kimani and King Kaka.
In April, Zhe Fang Liu, a photographer who was on tour in Kenya, declared his underlying love for Ngina.
The 28-year-old expressed optimism that he would get a chance to express his love for Ngina and marry her.
"My parents always continuously asks when I'm going to get married. I just got overwhelmed and decided to tell people that I'm going to marry Ngina," he stated.
"So, I figured I wanted to at least go on a date and cook her dinner to see if we have the same values. They say the beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes as they are the doorway to her heart," he added.
