Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi on Friday, September 6, 2019, launched a scathing attack at his Cherengany counterpart, Joshua Kutuny and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s political strategist, Nancy Gitau.
Speaking in Cherangany Constituency, Trans-Nzoia County, at the burial of Mzee Kibiwott Koross a former KCC director, Sudi claimed that Nancy had misled the area MP in the handling of the Mau Forest evictions.
Nancy and Kutuny worked together at State House where the MP previously served as the president’s advisor.
The Ruto allied MP claimed that Nancy was older than Kutuny and therefore imposed her ideologies on the Cherengany legislator.
“If you link up with a woman who is older than you, things will definitely go wrong. Because the biggest problem with your MP is that he chose to work with an older woman who imposed herself on him, even without Kutuny knowing what is wrong or right.
"I would like to advise Kutuny to leave Nancy alone. She will destroy your life and already I can see you’re not in the right direction," the vocal MP expressed.
Speaking to Ruto, Sudi went on and stated: “Your excellency, sometimes we should forgive these kinds of people but then again he will be forgiven in 2022.”
It is reported that Nancy and the DP’s allies are at loggerheads.
Their differences once played out in public when Sudi accused her of chairing a meeting where an alleged plot to kill the DP was hatched.
"I'd like to tell the chairman (PS Kibicho) and the secretary of that meeting, Nancy Gitau who say they were at La Mada discussing the country's development, that we know better.
“Nancy Gitau does not even hold a government office for her to claim that she was discussing development!" the Kapsaret MP claimed in July 2019.
