Itumbi in Trouble Over Raila Comments

Jubilee digital strategist and blogger Dennis Itumbi, on Monday, September 9, found himself on the wrong side of netizens, after he sent out a controversial tweet.

It was his efforts to compare Odinga’s swearing-in as the people’s president on January 30, 2019, which he termed illegal, to Nyoro's current predicament that rubbed Kenyan's the wrong way.

"Approach to law & Order...Raila Odinga illegally swears himself in as President, he's handed security & Chase Cars. Ndindi Nyoro attends church and contributes 200k while demanding observance of the political protocol - there are calls to arrest him!" Itumbi authored on Twitter.

Netizens dug up previous comments by Itumbi in which he appeared to be in full support of the brutality meted out on Miguna Miguna by the police back in 2017.

His allusion that the police officers were biased in how they handled the two situations elicited hundreds of comments.

"What is this guy high On, how do you Put Raila Odinga in one Sentence with Ndindi Nyoro, no wonder you still have a long way in terms of Viewing things for what they are and Blinded by your Contempt," one user posted.

Itumbi claimed that the government had moved with extra speed to arrest Ndindi who clashed with nominated MP Maina Kamanda clashed at Gitui Catholic Church in Kiharu.

"I can confirm now and here without fear or favour that without Tangawizi brigade mentioning Raila they will be hospitalized! Raila is a sweet name for sure, its a remuneration in itself. Can't imagine Kenya without him," another user posted.
