Miguna Launches Scathing Attack on DCI Over Billionaire's Death

Self-declared leader of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Miguna Miguna on Friday, September 13 launched an attack on the DCI after the discovery of the body of Tob Cohen.

The firebrand lawyer claimed that the DCI was taking credit for work that it had not done.

Miguna who is exiled in Canada at the moment claimed Cohen's body was discovered by dutch detectives who had arrived in Kenya a few days before discovery.

"They did not "discover" Tob Cohen's body. The Dutch detectives who arrived in Kenya just a few days ago did," Miguna tweeted.

The former Raila Odinga's aide further alleged that the Kenyan investigative agency was incompetent and corrupt and had no professionalism in doing their work.

"You are corrupt and incompetent. You didn't even secure the scene. You have been rummaging through and contaminating the scene like rogue beavers," he added.

Miguna's sentiments followed an announcement by DCI boss George Kinoti that they had discovered the body of the billionaire who had been missing for approximately 60 days.

DCI revealed he had been murdered in his own home at Lower Kabete, Farasi lane area before his body was dumped into an underground water tank.

The main suspect in the death of the billionaire is his estranged wife, Sarah Wairimu who was on Wednesday sent for mental assessment in order to stand murder charges in court.
