Uhuru's CS Clashes with Female MP [VIDEO]

Energy CS Charles Keter found himself in a tricky situation after he was confronted by Baringo Woman Representative Gladwell Cheruiyot in Tiaty, Baringo County.

Keter had visited the area to inspect the ongoing construction of a geothermal project when he was accosted by Gladwell and Tiaty MP William Kamket, accusing him of sideling them on the project.

Kamket and Keter were involved in a shouting match as Gladwell tried to join in but was overcome by the two.

In the video, Kamket is heard castigating Keter for traversing the area without informing him, despite making calls to seek his confirmation.

"Why are you isolating us, we are not fools, we just heard about your presence through rumours. Chungana na hasira ya mjinga (Be careful of a fool's anger)," warned the Tiaty MP.

In his defence, Keter said he was only familiarising himself with the project before meeting local leaders to discuss more pertinent issues.

Gladwell accused the government of not compensating the residents who were displaced because of the project and shrouding the whole process in secrecy.

As they walked away, she added that Keter was taking the local leaders in vain as Kamket questioned the CS's knowledge of whose ground they were stepping on.
