Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino on Sunday, October 6 brought to light President Uhuru Kenyatta's 'secret' in regard to Kibra politics.
The legislator spoke during a church service at ACK Holy Trinity Church Makina in Kibera, alleged that Uhuru supported Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Kibra aspirant Beneard 'Imran' Okoth.
According to Babu, this was as a result of the handshake between the president and opposition leader Raila Odinga.
"President Uhuru agreed to support Imran, Raila also supports him, we should not embarrass baba," stated the Embakasi MP who compared Uhuru and Raila's relationship to a marriage.
The vocal legislator also took a swipe at Deputy President William Ruto and Jubilee Kibra aspirant McDonald Mariga a former footballer.
He accused Ruto of using state resources to campaign for Mariga, by allegedly summoning Kibra and Kangemi residents to his Karen home.
He also trolled Mariga for scoring only six goals in six years and never sponsoring any local stars from AFC leopards football club, in his career as a footballer in Italy.
He maintained that Kibra was the opposition leader's 'bedroom' and that Ruto only began visiting the area after 7 years as DP. He maintained that Ruto had no right to visit the area to seek votes.
The Kibra by-election camapigns have taken a new high as the D-day is set for November 7.
