The fake holiday notice that was published online on Friday, October 25.

Diwali is held every year on October 27. The date, falling on a Sunday would have meant that the holiday would have been pushed to Monday.

The Diwali is a Hindu holiday that is celebrated through a four to a five-day festival that involves decoration and cooking.

It is also the most popular festival among the Hindus which marks the spiritual victory of light over darkness.

The Hindu community in Kenya celebrates the holiday by cleaning and decorating their offices while adorning their finest clothes.

The festival is also of Indian origin as it displays what their culture presents and how the natives celebrated this five-day holiday.

This also comes after Matiang'i clarified on another gazette notice that was sent out to online platforms in the country.
