Commuters woke up to a freak accident along Jogoo Road in Nairobi after two cars rammed into each other.
The accident that occurred at the Hamza Junction on Sunday, October 27, with the impact of the accident causing one to flip over.
Eyewitnesses at the scene stated that the two vehicles, one heading to the Donholm roundabout and the other joining Jogoo Road from Rabai Road collided as they each tried to enter the junction at the same time.
The impact of the collision resulted in the vehicle heading to the Donholm being flipped over as it crashed into the traffic lights post.
No deaths were reported in the morning crash as curious onlookers milled around the accident scene.
Traffic police officers were deployed to the crash site to control traffic as a snarl-up was witnessed on both sides of the road.
A tow-vehicle was also brought to the scene to remove the vehicle and clear the road before the situation worsened.
