Rashid Abdalla Begins News Bulletin With Bold Advice to Colleague [VIDEO]

In an Instagram video uploaded on Sunday, October 27 by Radio Africa journalist Carol Radul, Citizen TV's Rashid Abdalla begun a live bulletin with a piece of advice to his co-presenter.

During the Sema na Citizen program, Rashid Abdalla advised co-presenter Hassan Mugambi on how to handle messages from critics.

"Changamoto moja ambayo inanichnganya sana ni kwamba kuna watu ambao wanaeza kaa na kusema kuwa wanauhakika kuwa Rashidi ama Hassan Mugambi wanapenda sana wanawake..."

(One of the challenges that still baffle me is how some people would sit, think and come up with claims they are certain off and state that I, Rashid Abdalla or Hassan Mugambi or anyone else is a womaniser)," Rashid begun.

Lulu Hassan's husband didn't leave the question at that.

Rashid went further and asked his co-presenter of the daily mid-morning program another question. "Akiwa anapenda wanaume, tofauti itakuwa ipi ? Itakufurahisha? (If the said person prefers men to women, what would be the difference? Will it amuse you)?"

The question read from viewers comments by Rashid, puzzled Mugambi who was getting ready for the live bulletin.

Rashid went further and advised Mugambi to be conscious of critics.

"Katika hii maisha ikiwa hakuna watu ambao hawakuandami inamaanisha kuwa kuna hukifanyi vizuri. (it means in life, if people are not pressuring you or talking about you, there are things you are not doing right)."

Rashid gave an explanation for his advise and added his views on marriage and the input of critics.

"Kwa mfano, kama we ni mke umeolewa na hakuna mtu anyekuzungumza, basi juwa huyo aliyekuoa alifanya maamuzi mabaya (If you are a married lady and no one speaks abou you and your marriage, then know your husband made a mistake in marrying you)."
