Watch Uhuru Passionately Brag to World Leaders About Kenya

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday, October 30 stunned world leaders with what he had to say about Kenya.

In an international conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Uhuru wooed the investors as he heaped praises on his motherland.

The president was responding to a question by the moderator on why investors should invest in African nations.

"We have seen that through integration and creating a common market and bringing our people together, we are able to create an abundance of opportunities for our people," he began.

"We have also been able to reduce the cost of telephoning, for example, between Kenya and Rwanda there are local calls- those are not considered international calls anymore. We have been able to see an increase in the volume of trade between our two countries as well as ensured free movement of people between Kenya and Rwanda," he bragged.

Uhuru was one of the panellists alongside presidents Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria and Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger.

He went ahead to assure the attentive world leaders that China had seen an opportunity in Africa and taken advantage of it.

He also gave an example of Russia which had also woken up after it noticed that China was moving very far ahead of the superpower.

"They have decided, they want a piece of that action. We are telling the world, come, Africa is open for business. Africa's enemies are only those who see us in a negative light," he urged.

On Wednesday, October 23, Uhuru's trip to Russia bore fruit after the country donated Ksh700 million to help in clearing 14,000 hectares of water hyacinth in Lake Victoria.

Dimitri Amaksimychev, the Russian ambassador to Kenya mentioned that the donation was part of Russia's support for Africa's sustainable development, Kenya's Vision 2030 and the Big 4 Agenda.
