Jubilee Hires Jamaican Reggae Artist for Mariga's Final Kibra Rally

Jubilee Party took Kibra by-election campaigns a notch higher ahead of the minipoll slated for November 7.

Digital strategist Dennis Itumbi took to social media on Saturday, November 2, to announce that popular Jamaican reggae artist, Kenyatta Hill, would take part in Jubilee's last campaign rally in Kibra on Sunday, November 3.

Hill is the son of celebrated deceased Jamaican star Joseph Hill alias Culture.

"Kenyatta Hill Endorses Mariga. He will be performing on Sunday in Kibra," Itumbi tweeted.

In his tweet, Itumbi attached a video of the Pressure Drop hitmaker endorsing Mariga.

"Wagwan Kenyans. On Sunday, November 3, I will be joining you in celebrating Mariga because he promised to uplift the talents of the youth.

"It's going to be a party! Kenyans, I am looking forward to seeing all of you," Hill announced.

Mariga underwent a special benediction on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, when Deputy President William Ruto's wife Rachel, hosted him at the National Prayer Altar in Karen. The altar is housed at the DP's official residence.

"McDonald Mariga visited us this Wednesday at the National Prayer Altar during our weekly prayer and fasting fellowship," she wrote on Facebook.

ODM leader Raila Odinga and Ruto are expected to lead the campaigns for their candidates Imran Okoth and Mariga respectively, in the last campaign day.

While drumming up support for Imran in Kibra on Friday, November 1, Odinga tore into Ruto for making unrealistic promises to the residents.

The former prime minister argued that while Ruto was in a position to change the lives of Kibra residents since he was the second in command, he had done nothing of significance for them.
