Anne Kiguta Tears Into Raila's Bedroom on Live TV [VIDEO]

K24TV anchor Anne Kiguta on Sunday, November 10, castigated ODM leader Raila Odinga over the state of Kibra Constituency, which was referred to as his 'bedroom' during the November 7, by-election.

While issuing her remarks on Punchline, Kiguta held that it was time for Raila to clean his bedroom - referring to the dilapidated state of the constituency.

"If Kibra is your bedroom baba, then the jokes write themselves. In your bedroom, water and sanitation have literally become a pipe dream and they have been for decades, there is no access to decent housing for residents.

"Everyone is wondering with your political clout why Kibra still looks like that. What happened to cleaning toilets? The building of trenches?" she wondered.

She further stated that the Kibra by-election victory did not come easy for the political giant, as he faced opposition from various political factions.

Kiguta opined that Raila was forced to pitch camp in Kibra to secure a win for Bernard Imran Okoth.

"Raila didn't have the victory have him handed to him on a silver platter as he had to face off against his NASA allies, with ANC's Musalia Mudavadi fielding Eliud Owalo as their candidate and getting support from Kalonzo Musyoka," she added.

Kiguta stated that the victory did not come without lessons as Owalo's candidature signalled a rift in the coalition.

Referring to a past interview with Siaya Senator James Orengo, the journalist recalled the politician's remarks that there were two centres of power, where some CSs even reported to Raila.

"Isn't it time for a bedroom makeover. With the handshake in place, isn't it time to remind President Kenyatta of the unkept promises to the people of Kenya and the residents of Kibra?

"Don't Kibra residents deserve better after all these years?" she concluded.
