Khalwale's Sensational Remark on Raila Irks Kenyans

Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale came under the wrath of a section of Kenyans after he made a remark that many thought was uncalled for on November 13, 2019.

While posting injured Malava MP Moses Malulu's photo on his Twitter, the former senator asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to apologise for chaos witnessed during the Kibra by-elections.

"My brother, Hon Malulu, you will get well. A shame that your own colleagues unleashed goons on you! We must all condemn violence and firmly insist on Raila Odinga and the ODM Party apologizing for their despicable actions in Kibra," he wrote.

A section of Kenyans who saw the politician's post was not too pleased by his request.

"I'm so sorry but again you can make use of the money you were to distribute for treatment," Jack Asembo stated.

"He should thank God he's alive, instead of delivering services to his people, he is busy associating with non-issues which can't bring change to his constituency, "Wycliffe Sadiki weighed in.

"You went to look for trouble, unfortunately, you didn't succeed. Shame on you a million times," Alexson Kateiya remarked.

"Did u ask Aisha Jumwa to apologize?" JB questioned.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Malulu confirmed that he was roughed up by goons in Kibra.

"I was injured while in Kibra during the by-elections. I lost consciousness for some time and got paralyzed on my leg," Malulu spoke.
