Lilian Muli Curses on Live TV After Eric Omondi's Confession [VIDEO]

Citizen TV news anchor Lilian Muli, went off the script during an emotionally charged interview with comedian, Eric Omondi on Friday evening, November 15.

The news anchor used inappropriate language during the live broadcast after Omondi shared his struggles about working on Churchill Show.

" I joined Churchill in 2009 just after the post-election violence and five months down the line, I became extremely disappointed and extremely broke in equal measure.

"At that time, when I was on Churchill Live, people waited to watch Eric Omondi but now how do I get into a matatu (after a show). However, every time I did, people did not take me seriously. They would think I want to shoot something or I was pranking them," he narrated.

As the news anchor tried to probe more from Omondi, she accidentally used a cursed word.

"Here you are, very famous but you are broke, actually struggling just like every other Kenyan but guys think you are a big (unmentionable) celebrity," a startled Lilian stated as she quickly composed herself and continued with the interview.

Omondi went ahead and narrated that after landing his first advertisement, which earned him his first Ksh1 million, he almost wasted it all but his mentor Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill), was quick to advise him.

"I was so lucky to be mentored by Churchill. I approached him and he asked me to get a manager and to save my money. He asked me to avoid pressure. I was going to buy a Mercedes Benz on Langata Road. Churchill asked me to relax.

"There is a process for all celebrities. Mentorship is paramount. The pressure is real. Fans and fellow celebrities put a certain image, expectation and standards on you. When someone sees you driving a high-end car, they want to do so too," Omondi pronounced.
