A Citizen TV presenter on Sunday, November 17, announced her exit from the station's Rauka show the same day that singer Kambua Manundu made a TV comeback.
Speaking live on the show, Laura Karwirwa announced that she was going back to hosting Bambika on the same station.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Karwirwa revealed that she was hosting the two station for the duration that Kambua had taken personal maternity leave.
"I am still hosting Bambika, My main show is Bambika but I was only hosting Rauka because Kambua was away.
"Hosting the two shows has been exciting. They are two different shows with different audiences. The experience helped me explore different paths to my skill. I can say I've grown," she revealed.
For Kambua's return, the host revealed that she was her role model and that she liked her work ethic and smart.
"Kambua is my role model, she is smart, she has very good diction, the way she speaks generally she is clear in her words, she has good language and body language. She carries her interviews very well, she continued.
Kambua returned to hosting the popular Rauka Show on Sunday, November 17. The show airs every Sunday from 6-9 A.M.
"I'm so happy to be back and feel so excited. I hope sijasahau kazi (I hope I haven't forgotten work)" she joked to her co-hosts, Ken the DJ and Ms Karwirwa.
She went on to confess that having her son was a huge triumph, especially after her heart-wrenching journey.
"2 Corinthians 2:14 says thanks be to God who causes us to triumph. For me, it has been a season of triumph in many ways. There's the obvious which everyone knows. I was waiting for a child and I got a son and that's a big triumph for me," she stated.
