Grisly Accident on Major Highway, Deaths Reported

An accident involving a Matatu belonging to Sunrise Sacco on Monday, November 18, left scores injured with at least two people feared dead.

The accident occurred at the infamous Sachangwan blackspot along the Nakuru - Eldoret highway, with initial reports claiming that the driver lost control of the vehicle after its brakes failed, causing it to roll several times after colliding with a trailer.

Eyewitnesses claim that the two passengers died on the spot while the rest were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

This comes just 3 days after another accident claimed the lives of two people, who were burnt to death.

According to Dominic, a resident who spoke to Kenyans.co.ke, the accident involved a fuel tanker and a truck that collided, bursting into flames.

"The accident happened about a kilometre from Ntulele town along the Narok-Maai Mahiu road in Narok county," he disclosed.
