Citizen TV producer Winnie Wangechi Muriuki will now be the new face on Inooro TV news, after working behind the scenes for eight years.

Highly placed sources at Royal Media Services told Kenyans.co.ke on Saturday, November 30that Inooro TV, where she will be reading the news, would be re-launched on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Wangechi, who is Citizen TV's morning show producer, will be reading the news bulletin every Wednesday at 7pm 9pm.

She will be anchoring alongside Michael Njenga, a veteran media personality who has served in both stations.

The two will also be analysing politics as well as discussing issues facing the leadership in the country.

Wangechi also hosts a show on Inooro TV known as Irio To Githeri every Sunday at 6:30 pm. It is an educational program that showcases how different types of foods are prepared.

Meanwhile, Citizen TV news anchor and reporter Kimani Mbugua has also landed a new show segment on Inooro TV.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Kimani stated that he would be seeking to know some of the daily routines of the Kenyan citizens.

"It's a segment like the one I do on Citizen TV called Day Break. The whole idea is to spark a conversation on the errands people are running on that day.

"We will meet people and interact with them as they go to work or walking around the town," Kimani remarked.
