On Saturday, December 21, Citizen TV news anchor Jeff Koinange visited three kids from Baringo County, whose dancing video went viral on social media platforms.
The celebrated JKLive show host was accompanied by Citizen TV News Director Monica Kiragu, news anchor Rashid Abdalla and Hot 96 FM presenter Professor Hamo.
The journalists had carried gifts in the form of foodstuffs, shoes and iron sheets.
The children; Andrea Lenapir, Kelvin Lekimariki and Barrison Lekachuma were thrust into the limelight after they were recorded dancing during a prayer ceremony at Endume Secondary School.
Harrison Lemengurian, a Baringo resident who captured the video, narrated that one of the children was an orphan, the other is born from a disabled father while their friend was from a very humble background.
In the video that went viral, the trio danced cheerfully, attracting the attention of users on various social media platforms.
The news anchor was one of those wowed by the children and on Sunday, November 24, during a live broadcast, he tried to imitate their dance styles.
Fellow anchors Victoria Rubadiri and Bernard Ndong also joined him in the challenge.
"Jeff, it's all in the neck," Rubadiri who was at the tail end of the dance train advised as they danced, bobbing their heads in excitement.
