CCTV Captures Man Sneak Into Tycoon's Posh Home to Commit Suicide

Police officers in Kirinyaga County obtained CCTV footage that showed a man break into a businessman's home to commit suicide.

According to a report by Citizen TV, the man, aged 42 years, went missing on Thursday, January 2, before his body was found hanging inside the compound of a businessman in the area.

Quoting police sources, the broadcaster further noted that the compound was highly secured with a 15-foot-tall perimeter wall that was enforced with razor wire.

The body of the man was found hanging on an avocado tree within the compound.

Confirming the incident, Gichugu OCPD Anthony Mbogo revealed that the businessman's widow was the one who reported the matter to the region's police.

“We are shocked the man decided to climb this 15 ft perimeter wall to commit suicide inside this home,” stated the Mbogo.

The body was found with a barbed wire tied around its neck.

According to police officers who arrived at the scene, identification documents were recovered from his pockets that were used to locate his relatives.

The relatives, however, failed to believe that the man jumped over the fence into the compound and are expected to review the CCTV footage on Monday, January 6.

His cousin Haron Muriithi wondered, “We were wondering how he committed after jumping electric fence."
