Nyoro Captured Inciting Ngilu to Kick Out Moses Kuria [VIDEO]

Kiambu Governor James Nyoro on Saturday, February 1, joined his Kitui counterpart Charity Ngilu in fronting for the removal of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria from the dais during the BBI rally which she played host to.

In a video by K24 Digital, Nyoro came to the front of dais where Ngilu stood and angrily joined the call for Kuria to be bundled out of the meeting.

“Remove him, remove him and take him to Gatundu. What has he come to do in Ukambani? Carry him out of the dais immediately,” Nyoro was heard cheering Ngilu.

Ngilu also continued in the rant, accusing Kuria of disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"I cannot allow someone who insults President Uhuru Kenyatta in my meeting," remarked Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu.

After Ngilu and Nyoro’s orders, the parliamentarian was bundled out of the meeting in haste leading to a radical call for his return at the VIP dais by residents.

When given the opportunity to make his remarks at the rally, Nyoro lashed out at leaders opposed to President Uhuru Kenyatta and assured his support of the BBI.

"I am the firstborn from the handshake. I want to thank Baba for his brave step. Nobody can stop the ongoing process because some have already tried and failed," remarked Nyoro.

The governor also warned politicians in Central region against visiting Kiambu County to spew divisive politics.

"The president must be respected and those who don't respect him will be dealt with appropriately," he spoke.

Nyoro also stated that the country had reached a solution for problems which had affected Kenyans for a long time, through the handshake between President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Nyoro's incitement on Kuria's ouster from the rally could expose underlying tensions between the two Kiambu leaders. Kuria was notably absent in the new governor's swearing-in ceremony on Friday, January 31.

Among parliamentarians present during Nyoro's swearing-in ceremony included Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo, Ruiru's Joseph King'ara, Kiambu woman representative Gathoni wa Muchomba and nominated senator Isaac Mwaura.
