“Some years ago, I started my radio journey on Homeboyz Radio and today I got to the end of my stay there.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank you so much for listening to me each time I went on air and to my HBR family for the incredible chance to be a part of the family,” read the tweet.

Rae hosted the breakfast show alongside popular DJ Kaffi and aired on Saturday and Sunday between 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.

In an interview by the Daily Nation in May 2016, the presenter indicated the great passion she had for the media industry.

“Two of my favourite things are talking and music. My job combines both of these, which is why I love it so much.

“That and the fact that a bad hair day at work isn’t that big a deal. Radio’s awesome,” remarked Rae.

In her early days as a journalist, the presenter worked at Uptown Radio 91.1FM that later closed down.

Following her announcement to leave Homeboyz Radio, fans wrote best wishes to the presenter, terming her to her as a charming person who did her best, especially in her weekend breakfast show.
