Milele FM presenter Felix Odiwuor, known to many as Jalang'o, on Friday, January 8, responded to YouTuber Edgar Obare after claims that he intended to harm him.
In a long post shared on his social media, Jalang'o dismissed the claims, stating that Obare was out to tarnish his name.
The comedian revealed that he had reached out to the vlogger who was yet to respond.
"There are people out here trying soo hard day and night to bring me down but it will take them a hell lot of work because I'm not the kind who gives up in my grind.
"From his screenshots, there is someone working really hard to try and tarnish my name. I will not even bother asking or following who you are, Just Malice!," he began.
In addition, Jalang'o advised Obare to report the matter to the police rather than post it on social media.
"I have a lot on my plate to even bother with you and if you are honest about being threatened you don't post, you report.
"It has taken us years to be where we are today and I don't think I can want to lose it because of you," the radio presenter warned.
Below is Jalang'o's full Instagram post.
This life is very funny and it's not a place for the faint-hearted. I never talk a lot, I only work hard because that's the language I understand; early mornings late nights, sacrifices blood and sweat! When I get the little I get I share it with the less privileged because I know what it means to lack!
I don't know why people find it hard to accept that nothing comes easy! There are people out here trying soo hard day and night to bring me down but it will take them a hell lot of work because am not the kind who gives up in my grind! Last night I was working past midnight at Raddison Blu Hosting the Bamburi Dealers awards! A blogger wakes up and posts that I called him and threatened him? That he meets me at DCI. I just laugh! From his screenshots, there is someone working really hard to try and Tarnish my name.
I will not even bother asking or following who you are who talks to blogger and lie to them about me, Just Malice! Pure malice! For you Edgar you don't have to run or delete anything, I have a lot in my plate to even bother with you and if you are honest about being threatened you don't post, you report.
Today has been really funny and I have been laughing the whole time with peoples DM telling me that if anything happens to Obare it's me. Boss, it has taken us years to be where we are today and I don't think I can want to lose it because of you. Wake up and work!! Funny enough I see some people believing all this.
1. I was at Milele Fm at 4 a.m. upto 10
2. I was working for Quick Mart Roysambu to 11 a.m.
3. At 12 I was at Raddison Blue Day 2 Bamburi.
4. Tonight I am Hosting the Unga Limited New year event at Weston. Am here already.
That's what they don't want to hear...But I always say Haters are fans whose love for me is confused!
Today I went to Obare DM and asked him when I ever called him he has not replied
On Friday, February 7, Obare accused the comedian of contacting him and demanding a meeting. Further, he alleged that a close source to the presenter contacted him and warned that there was a plot hatched to harm him.
"Be very careful! They are planning to let things go quiet and people forget before they strike! I hear you still mention boss in your interviews," an excerpt from one of the screenshots read.
Obare's utterances come days after he was forced to pull down a video of celebrities, including Jalang'o, whom he claimed were cheating on their partners.
Speaking exclusively to our newsdesk on Saturday, January 20, Obare stated that his exposés have seen him get threatened and harassed online.
