on the side of the road immediately after an accident on the already packed road.

Reports from some sources at the scene indicate that seven cars and a motorcycle have been involved in the accident.

The accident has incited the opinions of many who urged the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (Kura) and the Kenya National Highways Authority (Kenha) to revisit the road and make some amendments.

Some called for the covering of the storm drains on the side of the road where the vehicles were thrown into calling it a risk to motorists using the road.

The Mbagathi way has been recently been undergoing intense repair process to make it up to standard.

It has been subject to several closures this year as the contractor on site demolished the Mbagathi Way Footbridge and pave way for the construction of a modern footbridge.
