Busera's grandson who found the package alerted the village elder, Michael Anjala who came to investigate the matter.

When Anjala proceeded to look into the matter he found the locals unwilling to open the package out of fear and decide to do it himself. He provided that the wrapping was similar to what one would find around a body set for burial.

"I took it upon myself to open the package. I found the eggs wrapped the same way you would wrap some for burial. One of the eggs still had the baby chick inside," narrated Anjala.

Nine of the 11 names belonged to members of the same family while two were linked to neighbours.

Kennedy Sande, whose family was mentioned in the ominous list expressed their collective concern at finding themselves mentions.

"I found the names of my brother, my mother, and my father, all of who are afraid," said Kennedy.

Silas Saha, whose kin also made it to the worrying list voiced the fear that had gripped them since it's discovery.

"I found the name of my grandmother, my grandfather and my mother among the names listed. I don't know what the cause is or who wrote it, it is something very worrying and fear-inducing," provided Silas.

The cryptic message was believed to have been linked to a land dispute between the two families who were cited in the list.
